What. A. Year!

Please make your year end donation at this link - we are forever grateful!

2022 has brought with it incredible growth and opportunity for us. It has been a year of fresh faces to our staff, new dreams becoming reality in our expansion, and an unbelievable year of support from this incredible community. We are feeling supremely grateful as we reflect on all that has happened so far.
Here are our yearend numbers:

· 183 unique individuals served

· 117 of them stayed at least 14 nights

· 19,222 total nights of care

· 37 people were assisted into better situations -- 15 were housed with vouchers, 9 were housed without vouchers, 9 moved in with friends or family, and 4 went into treatment.

This year brings with it the launching of our transitional shelter expansion and the arrival of the Pallet Shelter. After receiving unanimous support and needed funding from the City Council, we launched into our biggest undertaking since the relocation to our current site. These incredible new shelters add space, electricity, heat and A/C for those who are working to transition to self-reliance. So, with that addition, we truly mean “warm wishes.” Our goal to bridge the gap between emergency shelter and permanent housing in a market with record low rental vacancies.

While the infrastructure and staffing are in place, there remains much work to be done in making this a success. Ongoing support and daily work are the key to making progress and helping those in need. These operations come at a cost, but the payoff is one that this entire community benefits from. As we look to 2023, we hope you will consider making a yearend gift through our BMCF Valley Giving Guide campaign. These contributions are irreplaceable and vital to our future success.

So, with a refreshed team in place, strong support from this community, and our dreams becoming reality, we launch into another year full of hope and passion. Thank you for being a part of our story and a part of making change in your community. Thank you for caring for those who need it most. Thank you for letting us do what we love.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Sincerely,

Jordan Green
